Im playing on guild wars wen suddenly it freezes then the screen goes black then another kind of black...lol then it goes back on guildwars, if i go on to desktop after this, in the bottom right corner of my screen this appears..

If you no what this means please tell me and if u no how to fix it please tell me also. I dunno but it might be something to do withe my NVIDIA driver, if you think this problem is to do with my driver please could you tell me links to good or new driver downloads and tell me how to do it please.

Defenitely looks like a driver error. I assume you are using Vista, if that's the case, try downloading the latest driver you can find. Be sure to remove your old driver before though.

ok, Should i remove on driver on control panel, add or remove option. Then go on the internet and type "Downlod the lastest NVIDIA driver"? in google search. And on my laptop specs it says 1280 x 800 (32bit) (60hz) and main driver: nvd3dum.dll,nvwgf2um.dll, is there a certain driver i should download of the NVIDIA website? and say once i have downloaded it is it a striaght forward installation.

Make sure your video card isn't overheating. If it's overclocked, set it back to normal. Open the computer and blow any dust out of the fan/heatsink. Make sure the fan (on the video card) is running (if it has one).

I turn on my laptop and it does it in a matter of 10 minutes and ive had the laptop since christmas so doubt it is overheating and doubt dust is in fan.
I wanna download new NVIDIA geforce driver but dont no anything about it really so if you could tell me a link and what to download and do i would really appreciate it.

You should be able to find the latest driver either on the nvidia websit ein the download section or on your computer's manufacturer's website.

I am getting the same problem on my laptop and computer is less then 1 month old.

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU X7900 @ 2.80Ghz
2 Meg of Ram
Windows Ultimae 32 bit
2 NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT 256MB (total 512MB) Setup on Sli

Have the latest drivers installed.

Would really appreciate some help because with my luck 10% of the time I travel between battles - 90% of the time in the middle of a fight when it stops working.

For everything? Often times its pretty easy to miss drivers. I'd suggest searching around to see if anyone has had certain especially good drivers on that laptop or with the same gpus.

I had the same thing several times with my dual 8800GTX setup. It's certainly a driver issue. I actually found that, sometimes, the latest drivers cause errors that the previous did not and end up doing a driver rollback.

Also, it may well be an SLI issue - if you read the release notes for each driver, there is always issues with SLI in certain areas. I will go further: it's an issue with nVidia drivers for SLI cards running on Vista. I had no problems at all running the same rig on XP.

Make sure you're not using beta drivers or 3rd party drivers - the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com, finally, as said before, make sure the previous drivers are totally removed before installing the new ones.
